Trained as an educator with graduate degrees in Museum Studies (MFA, OCAD University) and Education (DPhil, York University) —
I have extensive experience in qualitative research, visual analysis, and pedagogical programming within art institutions. My academic research consists in examining how individuals and communities construct meaning through engagement with cultural artifacts and
aesthetic experiences more broadly. All of my projects involve interdisciplinary collaboration, combining insights from memory studies, developmental psychology and educational neuroscience to address questions at the intersection of culture, affect, attention and memorialization.
